Natural Homemade Hand Soap

You Will Need

  • 1 foaming soap dispenser or glass pump bottle (200-250ml)
  • Distilled or filter water
  • 2 Tablespoon unscented Castile soap (Bulk buy is better)
  • 1–2 teaspoon fractionated coconut oil (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil (Optional)
  • Funnel (Optional to pour in liquids)
  • 10–15 drops essential oil(s) of choice

How To

With this recipe you can make a hand foaming soap or just a normal liquid soap depending on the pump you buy. Remember if you are buying a foam pump bottle to check that the plastic can be used with essential oils, as they do react with certain plastics. Glass is usually preferred.

The fractionated coconut oil and vitamin E oil are optional as they are more to help with conditioning your hands, letting the oils soak in and not drying them out. Also try and buy your Castile soap in bulk, and that is natural or organic especially if you want to try and make several products with it.

Now once you have all of your products and ingredients mix them all together. It is always best to shake the bottle every time you go to use the hand soap as the oils sometimes sit on the bottom of the bottle. Below are some suggested blends you can try out in your new hand soap, but if you do not have all of the oils do not worry and just add what you have.
